As an ex-wanna-be comic book artist, I can say that there is usually a
huge difference between the pencils (which are closer to the original
intent of the drawing) and the inked version of the pic.
This is ESPECIALLY true if someone else inks your pencils. For a good
example: Todd McFarlane did some issues of the Incredible Hulk, but
with a different inker. The style was COMPLETELY different from his
later work in Spider Man and Spawn, which he inked as well as penciled.
I've probably butted in and bored you all to death, but, I just felt
like speaking on this one. :)
On a more on-topic note, I wonder what the GM/DM type will be called for
BNW? *sigh* Wish the book were out already, I've been looking for a
GOOD superhero game...
