Not sure I see an inconsistancy.  The main rulebook
says Rex Shepherd founded Triumph Inc in the 60's. 
Ben Archer, as the president of Triumph Inc, helped
build Cresent City in the 70's.    The books don't say
that Archer founded Triumph Inc, nor do they say
Shepherd is still the president.  He may have been
'retired' during the accident that claimed all the
alphas (hmmmmm), or he could still be around in an
advisorary posistion, or it could be a typo ... but
guess what ... it's your game .. yadda yadda yadda.
