Re: [BNW] Delta names

Actually, my heroes have not met most of the Ubermenchen yet - I have a
really nasty storyline planned for the near future which involves the
Ubermenchen, the heroes and a Mossad Delta strike team. But my players do
have an idea what's coming.

As an aside/forshadow, the heroes were out late one night and heard a loud
BOOM! nearby. Panzer, armed with a bazooka, was firing into a Jewish senior
citizens apartment building and it was already burning in two places.
Yankee Clipper, the team flyer, was the only one who saw Panzer and went
after him, only to be blasted into oblivion (he lived - Delta points are a
beautiful thing), letting the Nazi get away. Everyone else was getting
people out of the burning building with the sabatoged sprinkler system.

I have always liked the big disaster scene, with the heroes coming to the
rescue. My only problem is injecting the sense of urgency into the game - -
when it's there, things are great, but when you just can't get it, things
bog and drag. I've had 2 disaster/rescue scenes so far in the campaign,
this and another, and they've both been all right - - not bad but not what
I'd hoped they'd be. Has anyone else run them? And how do you keep the
tension up?
