I always thought of batman as more of a sneak or genius type,
with robin/nightwing as a sneak,  both with high levels of speed,
acrobatics, and martail arts.  Non of the classic batman equipemnet were
beyound mordern day tech, but the skill that they were used with was beyound
the pale.
