You can lift as if you have Strength 3, I believe.  I would assume 
any attack would be at that strength level too--which would be one 
reason to use objects, rather than straight TK (more damage).  I 
don't have the book in front of me, otherwise I'd give a less vague 
answer.

Various people have used house rules relating to TK.  I have  Trick 
that allows a success to be spent to get a point higher of Strength, 
and I know at least one person allows for the strength to equal the 
TK's Smarts.

You could justify both sides of the coin in regards to TK punch.  One 
side is that it is energy, and thus usable at normal TK strength. 
The other says that TK is the ability to move objects, but it has no 
force of its own.   Up to the GM, I'd guess.
