Personally, I feel that DragonCon is the best con I've ever been to, and
that includes over both GenCon and Origins.

However, D*Con is more of a general sci-fi con.  You will find just
about anything sci-fi or fantasy related at the con, though, and with
its move to Labor Day weekend this year there should be (hopefully) a
lot more gaming companies there.
