Huh? Any delta traveling into space would sufficate. Unless it was a
"breather" PP that didn't need to breath. Of course then they'd roast on
one side, freeze on the other and explode from depressurization...

Even saying alphas could is a stretch. Maybe a few, but probably the
majority would not have the right combo of powers to survive in space.

Finally assuming a large percentage of alphas could survive your still
talking about an infinitesimal percentage of the overall population.

I'd say with the genises and gadgeteers our there, and the need for
increased spy equipment that NASA would be alive and well. Although it
would probably a lot more of a political machine than it is in the real
world.
