A bit of both. Some tourist industry in the harbor and near-town
beaches. If you drive a bit further or even out to the islands (i
don't care if there aren't any in reality, i have to have beautiful
islands ;-)) you will find secluded spots for just ... any activity.

Well think about the german soldiers skills. Those were mostly
veterans and look what skill templates they get. It'd be interesting
to turn the tables there and have some of them turn shades of grey
(not all of them as evil maniacs, but professionals with their own
thoughts). Even though the people as a whole let itself be drawn under
hypnotic sway, most were just normal people.

I'd love to hear about it. A place without history is like a person
without shade. And certainly some stories only get better with time.
We started out with the military installment, which still might have a
large impact on the town. And i expect other things from the past to
do as well (Well, there has to be a reason, how so many Deltas setting
up shop here and some even getting away with not being registered,
without Delta Prime translocating their Headquarters here ;-)).

My take on things: There are people in this town who are pulling a lot
of strings to keep it that way. Who might that be?
