   While survival is space is hard for deltas and possibly even alphas they 
could have some advantages.   For instance a Flyer in a space suit dos not 
need a manuver pack, thus haveing more room for survival gear or even a tool 
pack.  Also, a freezer is immune to cold and thus would need less thermal 
protection (but still needs protection vs Radiation and such).
   Thus it could be possible to have a shuttle crew of deltas which would be 
very effective.  After all someone has to put up all those spy sats that 
Kennedy loves <grin>.
   On the other hand, what happens if a person has an accident in space and 
becomes a delta, what could happen?  I have benn toying with a delta called 
Void Dancer, which is a flyer varient.  Their main advantage is that they can 
survive in space but suffer badly in a gravity field beyond .5gs.  I never 
finished the details but the idea behind the character was they were the 
first identified delta that had been created off the planet.
