This is kind of what we are trying to do with the CaC Campaign
setting. See it as a test, just how active our little community can
be...

Any editing on CaC will be appreciated, but for now I believe we are
ok (we are not "publishing" in a real sense of the word yet ;-).

I'd rather have those a bit in the unclear and have them formulated in
a well thought-out context later on...

I doubt it. And its hell to organize. On the other hand, if you'd have
AEG state a price... Its value now for them is about 0. So any profit
from the license would be a net gain. You might even get it somewhat
cheaper (than the 30K $). Does anybody know how FASA sold off their
Earthdawn rights? That game is being resurrected, afaik.

That looks like an interesting idea - even though we are looking at a
completely new business model here. E-Books for subscription. This
could actually work - because we all trust Matt to deliver (do we?
;-)).

But i fear the truth is, that we are not enough people anyway. Even
though with the mass of lurkers on the list (yes, you ;-)), we'd need
to actively support (in a marketing sense) the game. That means
setting up more websites, get it talked up in game columns and forums,
etc.

But heck, i don't have to feed anybody but myself yet, but that
sometimes is hard enough. And I daresay that lots of you here on the
list face the same day-to-day problem.

If you want to prove me otherwise, add to the existing BNW-websites
(CaC first of course >:) ), set up your own, participate in
discussion, hold demos in your stores and on conventions or express
your willingness to actually work (the administrative part) of the
"SAVE BNW FUND". Everything else is just talk.
