[BNW] BNW & So on

Hi:

I haven't checked out any of the BNW websites other than to glance at a front
page or so. They generally seem pretty darn cool. However, if I'm to ever
work on the game again, I'd be opening myself up to liability suits accusing
me of copying stuff from a a website. I try to avoid the issue entirely by
not reading anything I haven't gotten a waiver on. This policy started at
Pinnacle, and it seems to have worked well so far.

Dragonstar is basically D&D in space. It's gritty, yet heroic, and it should
end up being a lot of fun. I'm halfway through the player's book right now.
I'm writing it with my editor Greg Benage (of Blue Planet fame), and he's
doing a great job of keeping me in line. ;) Books should be out in
November/December.

I'd love to be able to spend more time on BNW, but I've literally contracted
for a quarter million words over the next few months. And I'm actually on
vacation right now. So time is at a premium.

Take care,

Matt Forbeck
