Yes, and it is right to do so.  Those who hide and protect terrorists are 
no better than they are.  We have rules in the US regarding harboring 
criminals, and it is time they are fully applied elsewhere.

First off, no one is going to "carpet bomb the place back to the stone 
age."  That would never happen.  We are better than our attackers, after 
all.  The country will feel victimized no matter what -- they harbor the 
terrorists because they believe the actions were right.  The fact that no 
justification could exist for this...attacking military targets is one 
thing.  Killing innocent civilians, especially on the scale of the World 
Trade Center, is abominable.  And most people around the world believe 
that, and will support any strike against these people.

But I really don't believe we are going to strike in a senseless 
manner.  We will identify who did it, who is protecting/financing them, and 
deal with them in appropriate military fashion.  It won't be WWIII, if only 
because right now, the majority of the world is on our side.  They want 
this stopped too. Whoever did this, whether bin Laden or some other 
criminal, has few friends now.  There's been talk of declaring these war 
crimes, which I hope goes forward.
