The problem is that as players we have the option of
saying that the profit motive shouldn't matter. AEG
had a lot invested in Brave New World and needed to
have something to show for it.

If we were to buy the rights to BNW there would still
be no new supplements unless we then payed publishing,
marketing, writing, distributing, and dozens of other
costs. Once this happened we would understand what AEG
experenced. There is nothing to stop us from producing
fan supplements and distributing them amongst
ourselves and others, non-profit. Most companies don't
pursue legal action on lines that they are no longer
supporting.

We have been over that before and my answer remains
the same. However I'm afraid at this moment that the
Total Defiance PBEM is DOA. There has been a
decreasing amount of interest in it, until it isn't
active at the moment.
