Aaah, the oft-asked question... [I haven't been keeping up with recent
BNW changes, so I might be a little off...]
Many things depend on *how* King Jack goes away; I mean, violent
revolution is much different than a "disappearance" or a "contractual
removal"...
The best one could hope for is the first, a revolution stemming not only
from the ranks of the deltas, but more important from the masses of the
regs. More than deltas, even, the regs are gettin' screwed by King
Jack's reign of terror -- but the fact that they are more scared of
deltas makes that a difficult point to get across to them...
In any case, if King Jack vacates that giant sucking sound called
"leadership" will be heard from all over, and a suitable replacement
much be found. If things are done carefully, the wrong person could end
up ruling, and make everything even worse...
What is needed is a reg to step up. Sure, us Defiants would love for it
to be someone from our ranks, and it might even work -- for a while.
But if a reg comes forward and defends the rights and lives of both reg
and delta, it will hopefully offset some of the poisonous propoganda
that Jack's been spouting for years. 'Course, another reg like Jack --
only more subtle -- could spell disaster for the future.
