Eegad! Some reference the site! Now, I *really* have to get off my
duff and update that start page (coming soon: 2000! eek!)

Look under the "Archetypes" section on the right...

Hey, if you ever get those tricks to primetime (although they look good
to me...) send 'em on and I'll actually make an update to my site..

Power or Trick? (Discuss... ;)

Does this also affect their dodge? Might give them a bonus to dodging,
and cancel/reduce Aiming effects... (Can't track what you can't follow...)

Might make this one a bit more expensive as a base (perhaps 10).
> Additional Trick using Temporal Drag
This affects the target, and not the people on the ground, so it's a
little wierd.. So the target is wrapped in a bubble of "slow time", such
that one action to them is (metaphorically speaking) like two actions of
the outside world?

Surprised no one has suggested this one yet:
Trick: Bullet Time: May only be done as a reaction to an attack
(particularly a ranged attack...). Done almost as an instinct, a
Tempest discovers very early that they can get out of harm's way with
preternatural speed. Roll an Easy (5) Spirit check. For each success,
add a +2 to your Dodge.
Shutter Speed: Every Tempest knows that it isn't the speed at which you
move that is truly important, it is the speed at which you *perceive*..
With this trick, a Tempest can notice the flicker on your TV... When
watching an event, roll an Easy (5) Spirit check. For every success,
add +2 to any perception-type rolls.
(Haven't playtested the above -- don't even have the rulebooks in the
same *city*, so take 'em as you might...)
Ever Defiant!
