Nothing is as it seems in the Hunting Grounds.. instead of having the spirit
talk with him directly and tell him the answer, make it give him visual
clues, riddles and hints. Don't let him find an actual spirit floating
around - just make sure the player knows he's speaking with a spirit based
on what happens around him.. leave it to the player to fill in the blanks...
maybe this will work in your game, maybe it won't, but never just tell the
player an answer..

At least, that's my opinion. And I don't care what power they're using.
Nothing coming from the spirit world is that cut and dry.
