Maybe throw a 'glom or a few zombies in the basement,
but for the real baddie here's an idea ...

Use the suggestion made about the "Angel's Thread" and
have the villian a normal human (a sick, deranged
psycho killer, but a normal human none-the-less).
Why? To show off you don't need to be a 'big servant
of darkness' demon type to cause unearthly horrors.
Now most people might scoff. He's a wimpy human, one
bullet and he's dead, or just soul blast him. Well,
the manitous won't make it that easy.

Have the players first see him in the basement, after
encountering the horror of finding lots of body parts,
but before encountering any real tricks or traps.
When they open fire, he laughs as the bullets bounce
off of the bullet proof glass between him and the
posse. Soul blast, or shadow walk? The manitous
won't let him go down so fast. Either the hexes don't
work, or don't work as expected. The shadow walker
reappers in a locked dungeon. The soul blast bounces
off the glass. Don't explain why, maybe it's ghost
rock tempered glass, or maybe a manitou was floating
right there and 'took one' for the psycho. Have the
characters play his little game, trying to maneuver
through shifting walls and various traps, hoping to
eventually get to him. Throw a zombie or two, a
disembodied hand, or a night haunt at them. Make them
afraid of the corners, knowing he's watching them and
toying with them. Eventually the players might get to
him, if he lets them. Probably they get to the last
room, and instead of finding him, find a bomb set to
go off, but just out of reach of the posse (maybe in
an iron cage). Now the posse has to rush out as fast
as possible, with more traps slowing them down. They
end the adventure with the castle being destroyed, but
the villian living ... so now they have someone to
hunt down. Course if they ever do kill him, bring him
back harrowed. Remember you only live twice.
