Yup - the standard 10lb cannon is more powerful then the 12lb cannon, due
to being rifled and higher technology.
With the vapor cannons, all sizes are converted up to the latest
technology, allowing the 12lb cannon to become the most powerful one.

The numbers in front of the ammo is cost.

But don't hold these numbers as gospel. John and I are tweaking them still.

Why did the chicken cross the road?

Thomas Hardy:
The road was black, the sky was white (and so were the feathers) as the
bright red mark on the top of the chicken's head gleamed in the twilight.
It was a pure chicken and it was doomed.
