On this note  -  something like this (the request for PEG's convention
schedule) is definitely on topic for this list.

Even the recent thread about the qualities of the movie Wild, Wild, West is
on-topic, up to a point.

If it has to do with those of us who happen to have met on this listserv,
and yet want to seriously mock Battlefield Earth  then it is an OT list
thing.
