[DL] re: Movie Thoughts (wandering OT)

I have long heard this was one of the worst movies ever made (although a
niggling voice keeps telling me it was "Billy the Kid meets Dracula's
Daughter" -- could there be two of these?), and I've spent most my adult
life looking forward to suffering through it.

Back when I was in college (yeah, yeah, and dinosaurs ruled the earth), they
had a "Bad Movie Night". They featured five movies, including "Jesse James
meets Frankenstein's Daughter". The only other one I remember was "Beach
Blanket Bingo". The rule was you could come in for free, but you had to pay
to leave early. The earlier you left, the more you had to pay. I would
have gone if the marathon hadn't started at 9:00 at night, or if I could
have talked any of my friends into going. I've always thought it was a
near-brilliant marketting strategy.
