The tiny little white eggs which lice lay in your hair. Often you get these
before you notice you had any lice at all. Of course, lice are worse since
they crawl around and get stuck in combs and such, but nits are still
horrible, especially if you have long hair. You lift it up and underneath on
your scalp will be a white mass of eggs.
