For cards that I've used:
I have a series of "X" in the old west - Outlaws, Indians, Lawmen, 
Explorers that has pictures and a short biography of several folks that fit 
the category.
The Deadlands poker decks.
A Doomtown card deck.
I have a Civil War deck, with pictures of battlefields on the aces, the top 
generals on the Kings, etc.
And I just picked up the 1864 style deck - square corners and no 
numbers.  I use a couple of the extra cards for the jokers.
