Hey there, everyone!

Just wanted to take a sec and say hello to the
listmembers. Just started Deadlands a couple of weeks
ago and already our gaming group is hopelessly
addicted! 

I have a couple of questions which I'll address over
time. For now, the first one:

I'd like opinions from folks on what they think about
having...say, 5d6 to roll instead of 3d12 or so. Our
group is wondering if due to the smaller die type it
seems you'd have a better chance to roll aces over and
over... thereby garnering you a higher roll. Seems
that rolling aces on d12s is uncommon at best. 

Again, any and all opinions are valued. You all have
played longer, after all. :)
