As a general favour to me, could folk please try to avoid using a period on
a blank line like this in their emails? My mailer daemon hates it (it think
the period is an EOF marker), which wouldn't be so much a problem, except I
get the digest which means everything in the digest AFTER the message gets
lost.

I don't know if anyone else has the same problem, but I suspect its likely.
