Wow. That's a precarious situation.. good luck. I have to point out though,
if someone's playin' a Priest of some sort (and I assume they are, if
they're buying Fire and Brimstone) and *not* working to solve murders and
obvious clues, but spending their time plotting against the other players,
I'd strip him of his power and make him quest to get it back. Hopefully that
would get them back on track and doin' right.

If not, think about simply taking the group aside after a night and
mentioning something. "Guys, I hope you're having fun, but this game is
supposed to be about heroes. You can be mercenary heroes, but ultimately you
should be solving the crimes and catching the villains, not ignoring both.
When you ignore crimes, you become villains yourself." Or something like
that....
