Hey there.
If you're looking for players still, I'd be interested in trying out a PBEM
(and the posting requirement is something I can handle, I suspect, without
too much trouble).
I've never played a PBEM before, but I'm familliar with the format.
As for a character, I could suggest two off the top of my head that would
interest me:
Either a railroad troubleshooter (like John Smith, who is actually a
character I created and played in my only turn to-date out of the Marshal's
seat. He can be found at http://www.geocities.com/weirdwest_2000 in the
Extras section, sans gatling pistol (I would presume, since he got that
in-game), or
A gambler (not necessarily, or even preferentially, a Huckster) who rides
the rails regularly (kind of a land-bound riverboat gambler), either in the
employ of the railroad (to keep things honest) or as an ordinary passenger.
