[DL] RE: deadlands-digest.20001105

<Dan said>

At one time, every Deadlands supplement included an adventure. When I
asked if this policy would be continued, I was told that it would. (By
Shane, IIRC.)

Since Ghost Dancers (AFAIK), however, this hasn't been the case.

I'm wondering when and why this change was made, and about how you all
feel about it.

Though I can appreciate your position and the position of others on the
adventure a book system, personally I'm much happier with the currant setup,
I usually have to take apart pre-written adventures and adapt them quite a
bit to make them a bit more posse-proof (they tend to get silliest ideas and
run with them) so I prepare for as many eventualities as possible, I spend
as much time on them as my own and they have a more "us" feel to them when
we play.
