I'm more of a lurker than a contributor, just popping up now and again to
ask a stupid question (like the price of aluminum in 1877, before
manufacturing processes made aluminum dirt cheap), but I'd like to say
'hiya' and welcome you to the list all the same. There are a lot of nice,
smart, twisted-as-all-heck people here, so I think you'll enjoy yourself.
And you wouldn't believe the bizarre sorts of things they know! Even I get
impressed now and again at the freakish wisdom they can impart.
