I'd say no.  the varying number of dice act to scale the roll to prevent
somone failing the TN 3 guts check from havning a heart attack.  it's just
not that scary.  by the same token, the guy who fails his TN 13 guts check
shouldn't just feel uneasy (which he won't, with 6 dice).
