I suspect others will suggest this but, if you have the time and money, I
would suggest Kenneth Hite's _Nightmares of Mine_ (ISBN: 1-55806-367-6).
The advice is specifically tailored to Horror but there is a lot of general
application to the material.

Not a web site but about as good an analysis of how horror works as you
would want for RPGing (King's _Danse Macabre_ and Lovecraft's _Supernatural
Horror in Literature_ are also good reads by two men who would know.).

just wondering if anyone had any sites which have resources on how to write
