Well heres a ideal, don't bother with just a few charaters, throw the whole
dam town into the hell on earth setting. Possible via a mad scientist
accident. And then throw in hints that the prophetcies predicting the
appearance of the town where written by the charaters themselves at some point
in thier own futures.
