Speaking on behalf of those of us who have written for *DL* using Southern
narrators, that wasn't what we were shooting for at all. Any such errors,
no matter how purposeful they appear, are attributable to the various
creative people involved; editors and writers alike.
For instance, my literary alter-ego The Southern Sentinel is much more
literate and cultured than I am, so I'm certain all typos are my fault and
not his. ;-)
