[DL] House Rules (Allan)




Its' been over year since our group has played DL, and the 
hankering has returned.  As such I've been reading the archived 
list server emails and wondering the web and trying to find nuggets 
to make our newest campaign more memorable.

Were upon, I came across your house rules Allan.  If you have a 
moment I have a couple questions.

Edge: Draw Poker - 3 points
<also snagged from the listserv> By spending a white fate chip, 
and a second fate chip for the effect, a huckster can toss and 
redraw a number of cards after he has been dealt them.
*	White - 1 card 
*	Red - 2 cards 
*	Blue - 3 cards, or 4 cards providing he is holding an ace. 

Did you find the above ability balanced during game play?  Did 
players select it or did they feel it was too expensive?

Base damage is raised to 3d8.

Did you increase the damage dice for other weapons (shotguns, 
rifles, ...)?  How much deadlier did combat become as a result?
