[DL] Field of Honor Questions (SHANE)
Shane,
Allan didn't know the answers...
First off, will there be a FAQ or errata anywhere?
(FYI, Matt DeForrest is currently collecting "Accumulated Rulings")
p.9: Retreating from melee:
- If a unit tries to retreat through another unit (i.e., interpenetration),
do both units need to make a morale check?
- If so, I assume, if either unit fails, the retreating unit is destroyed,
correct?
p.12: Base sizes:
- The conversion rates are incorrect and cause confusion (bases for 25mm
figures listed as 2" square-40mm X 40mm). What is the correct size (I'm
assuming 40x40, which is a fairly "standard" size)?
p.15: Movement rates:
- The conversion rates from hexes to inches is inconsistent across troop
types.
For example, Infantry line movement rates are 2x Hexes for 15mm, 3x hexes
for 25mm. All other troop movement, is 1.5x and 2x. Similarly all weapons
are 2x & 3x, except howitzers. Is this intentional, or is this an error?
p.26: Battles:
- The rules mention playing battles in a certain order to familiarize
yourself with the rules as battles get more complex. Unfortunately, they
list Lexington & Concord, Cowpens, and Yorktown, with no corresponding
scenarios.
Scenarios/Troops types:
- Several scenarios and the army lists (p. 42) refer to "Continental Foot"
and "Foot" interchangeably. Furthermore, there are no "Continental Foot"
counters. I realize that this should be regular US foot, but the
inconsistencies are somewhat confusing
- French Foot: Army lists show Morale C, counters have Morale B. Which is
correct?
Lastly, Will pictures be available for the FoH minis?
Thanks,
Patrick
