I.e. he puts on a show being nice to those individuals or groups that such a
course of action would profit him more that fear.
What I was trying to imply, albeit badly, is that Grimme has to have a
certain amount of Charisma, in order to have built up his twisted religion.
He is not an indifferent figure. He is someone who must be able to project
his feelings for you, whether favourable or negative. He has to be someone
that radiates emotion, including affection. Sutherland tends to be too
cold.
