That scene to me is what makes this a perfect
DeadLands movie - you've got the disharmonious campy
scene right next to a serious and gruesome one ("god
damn religious icon").  I adore the interplay of
absurd and serious, they compliment each other so well
in the Western setting.  It gives the horrible that
much more impact.

Ah, but how do you know when he dies?  The first time
he's shot... the second?  I could easily argue he
STARTS the movie Harrowed, and his worse nightmare had
to do with trains!!

That would be cool, it's a good setting.
