[DL] Question About Recoil
Last night I was reading a response to a post on GO
and it confused me about the way recoil works.
The (revised) Player's Handbook states that there is a
-2 cumulative recoil penalty for every 3 bullet burst
fired after the first in the same *ACTION.*
This implies to me that for this to even come into
play the weapon must have a rate of fire of at least
6. Two 3 bullet bursts in one action.
However, the post I read last night seemed to imply
that the penalty applied to bursts fire on
*CONSECUTIVE* actions. That is, if your weapon has a
ROF of 3 and you fire off one 3 bullet burst on your
first action and then fire off a second 3 bullet burst
on your next action it suffers the -2 recoil penalty.
So which is it? Is it ever additional burst in the
SAME action as the Player's Handbook implys or every
CONSECUTIVE action as the post implys.
Thanks.
Jesse
