Howdy.  I just thought I'd say hello, since I'm new to this list.  I'm
John Goodrich, one of the Doomtown Story writers, the one with the
unwholesome obsession with the Whateleys.

In proof of this, I've just put up every Whateley story I could find on
the net at www.qusoor.com/Whateley .  Anything you want to know about
the Gomorra or Ghost Creek Whateleys?  I'd suggest you go there.
