Yep. Same guy. Eventually they cobbled together a
ritual for the purposes of calling up a demonic entity
to bargain with. In the end, it was agreed that Jacque
would get his soul back after being the eyes of the
demon in the mortal world for a year and a day.

He didn't count on those eyes appearing in the middle
of his palms. They blink every so often to freak him
out. :)
