RE: [DL] When Do Legend Chips Go Bye-Bye

Mostly, whenever you want it to. By the book, it only specifically
states that it goes bye-bye when used to completely re-roll any roll
(like damage, charts, backlash, etc).

I usually only get rid of it for my posse when it is used but really was
unneeded. Like, a character who was about to finish off the big baddy
anyways, but uses the legend chip to get even MORE raises, or to try to
get better damage, just to look cooler. Yes, this makes the "legend"
bigger, in a way, but in a heroic game, I'd much rather see the legend
chip used to save someone's life (I allow it to be traded for free), or
even used by a character with a legend-ship specific ability (Guardian
Spirits, Knacks, etc.)

Just the way things are done around these parts

Subject: [DL] When Do Legend Chips Go Bye-Bye

I hate to beat a dead horse, but I'm still unclear
on when a Legend Chip is permanently removed from the
pot. Any comments, opinions, clarifications or even
recipes would be appreciated. Could someone throw me
a frikin' bone here:).
