[DL] Movie recommendations

Clint Eastwood seems to have a sort-of-maybe supernatural thing going with
a number of his later movies. To see what presumably inspired the Harrowed,
watch Hang 'Em High, Pale Rider and High Plains Drifter.

The Quick & the Dead is one of my favourite movies of all time - it's about
as close in style to Deadlands as any movie could really be expected to get
without adding in supernatural elements. It's cheesy and over-the-top and
supremely stylish and directed by Sam Raimi and contains Gene Hackman and is
utterly utterly brilliant from beginning to end.

Oh yeah, and Once Upon a Time in the West is about the best western ever
made (insert lengthly debate here), also by Sergio Leone, and tells the
tale behind the origins of a railroad town. It's fantastic, I can't even
 begin to describe it.

Right, that's enough to be getting along with, I think. :>)
