Re: [DL] spirit lamps



Maybe the alcohol is inhabited by a Manitou (demon
alcohol), and it causes people near it to see what the
Manitou chooses (people become demons, etc.), causing
them to kill or attempt to kill the offending monster.
 The same could work outside the hospital for any
"spirit lamp" that an MS could create as an early
flashlight.  Then again, some could contain helpful
spirits who aid in healing, or who allow you to see
things as they truly are, rather than as the Manitou
chooses for you to see...
