official since he doesn't exist yet (as a celebrity, at least). I think he'd
be about 10 in the current timeline. ;) >>

True enough! Though the same can be said about a few other NPCs in LAW
DOGS. I chose more for interest than for time period, though most of the guys
I picked were around during the DL timeframe.
Here's Billy, altered as needed to fit into DL:

POSSE TERRITORY
One of the most infamous outlaws in the West, "the Kid" was born Henry
McCarty in either Brooklyn, New York, or somewhere in the vicinity of
Illinois, Indiana, or Missouri in 1855 (the Kid himself has told different
stories, so no one can say for sure where he's from; he also uses the alias
"William Bonney"). His family moved to New Mexico when he was about 11.
In his 21 years, the Kid's killed 21 men, beginning at age 14 with a man
who was supposedly attacking his mother. After that he killed men who
insulted or attacked him, men who were on opposite side in range wars, and
lawmen and bounty hunters who have come after him for the reward on his head
(currently $500) or the fame of killing him.
Deputy United States Marshal Pat Garrett has made it his priority to
track down and capture the Kid, who used to be a friend of his. He caught up
to the Kid and his men in Stinking Springs, New Mexico, a couple of years
back and captured him. The Kid was tried and sentenced to hang, but his
jailers became lax. On the way back from the outhouse one day he somehow
managed to slip out of his handcuffs, get a gun, kill two deputies, and
escape. Because of this and two earlier escapes of the Kid's (in which he
squeezed out between the bars of his jail cell), it is thought that he must
be some kind of escape artist. Garrett has had a pair of special heavy
handcuffs made for the next time he catches up to the Kid — assuming the Kid
survives the encounter.
Although the Kid has no compunctions about stealing, particularly horses
and cattle, he doesn't actively pursue that sort of crime most of the time.
He's more likely to work as a hired thug in range wars or as a killer for
pay. He spends most of his time in New Mexico and Arizona. He has a lot of
friends in those areas who help hide him from the law.
The Kid's appearance gave rise to his nickname. He stands only about
5'9" tall and weighs about 160. He has a youthful looking face, complete
with an overbite that makes it look like he has mild buck teeth, blue eyes,
and unkempt sandy blonde hair. His face is well-known throughout the West,
and he makes no effort to disguise himself.

<SPOILER SPACE FOR NON-MARSHALS>

MARSHAL LAW SECTION
The Kid's miraculous ability to escape from jail cells and handcuffs
comes from the effect that the eerie energies of the Reckoning have had on
him. Shortly after he killed his first man, he found out that his body had a
strange flexibility to it. In fact, he could squeeze himself up so that his
body, hands, or feet become about half as large, or half again as long, as
normal! Needless to say, this makes it mighty hard to keep him confined in
any way.  His body is also much more resistant to damage than normal;
consider him to be Size 8 for purposes of determining what Wounds he takes.
This has only made him more willing to get into gunfights and brawls.
Unlike many of his fellow outlaws, the Kid is intelligent and clever, and
a good leader. He won't act stupidly or take foolish chances, and he has a
wolverine's cunning when trapped.
