I remember watching the 1960 Magnificent Seven with my Dad back when I was a 
kid, actually.  Great movie.

Conversely, with regards to the Magnificent Seven, go for the 1960 original
(or at least semi original because of Kurosawa) rather than the 1998 pilot
movie for a TV series of the same name.
