Re: RE: [DL] Really stupid Question!

Speaking of the whole character dyin' issue...

I've used Stone two times so far and I'm planning on using him the third time.
First time was in the in the Devil Tower.
Second time, he was sitting on one side of the saloon, while on of the heroes was standing on the other - a real bad-ass gunslinger wanted for murder. (He was a Grim Servant of Death. And he shot a CS Major who recognised him as a deserter and drew on him. The gunslinger was faster and killed him.) I had Stone raise his glass, toasting to the gunslinger. When the hero managed to walk through the saloon crowd the chair was empty.
Unfortunately, said gunslinger died a few sessions later, so I wasn't able to expand on that.

But recently, the player with the undead Texas Ranger returned to our group. If he'll play more frequently again, there will be an assasination atempt on him, since he makes a few people very nervous in a little town called Las Placidas, New Mexico. People, who would like to violently remove some competition from the area and fear the Rangers investigations.
Anyway, they'll "kill" him with a nice shotgun blast to the chest or so and give him a decent burial.
When the ranger has healed up again, he'll come out of the grave. I plan to place Stone right there, standing on the foot of the grave, watching him, climbing out - making him an offer to join his side and spread a little fear.

This offer is valid, since the Ranger already revelled a bit too much in his Harrowed powers and frightenend some towns up North.

Should be fun to watch the players reaction. For me, anyways ;-)
