I agree with the statement, "We must respect everyone's gaming style on the
list for that is the  essence of courtesy."  However, the second paragraph
in the "Marshal's Handbook" section of RVC states that the players should be
"encouraged" to read the first part of the book so that they will want to
track down the things that they have read about (RVC, chap 3 pg 75).  How
would I have considered this a "spoiler?!"  The intent of the book is that
the appropriate sections of the book be read by the players!  I've been a GM
for twenty-five years -- this is not a spoiler...
