Something Freaky. My mom was in the same park as one of Ted Bundy's
victims the exact day the victim was kidnapped. It really freaked her
out when she learned because the victim was almost the same age as my
mom.
Also, I think Fearmongers could hide behind the cops' tendecy to blow
off stuff. The sister of one of my mom's friends disappeared when the
friend was in her teens. Ted Bundy was their paperboy(He was 14), and
the sister had gone out to get the morning paper. The parents told the
cops "We think it might be that really creepy paperboy" but the cops'
didn't even consider him a suspect.
