Don't get me wrong, I agree and was disappointed as well but I didn't
expect there to be much to begin with about the setting.  I figured that
all of the setting stuff would be in Wasted West.  

If you look at the main Deadlands book, it's the same way.  Rules, a bit o'
setting, character classes, secrets for the Marshal.  Then comes Quick and
the Dead and a few of us complain that there's too much info and too many
plot threads.  More is better in my opinion.

I would have liked to have seen more setting and less repetition of history
that most of us knew anyway.  I know PEG wants them to be separate games
but I think they could have deleted most of the history that was already
told once in Deadlands The Main Book.  Once again, it's the Prospector's
Story that gives us little tidbits of things to come and as before, we have
to wait.  I thought I would be happy and give the PEG guys a break once HoE
came out but now it's not even enough.  I want Wasted West and all the
sourcebooks right away (especially the Templars).  There's just no pleasing
me sometimes.  Just like my wife says.
