Re: [HoE] Setting Question

hello,

in regards to Pat's musings about water. I agree that most water supplies
would be contaminated, fallout, chemicals, human wastes(love that cholera!)
I've decided that a town that was situated near an artesian well field would
be a prize plum to have. I created a town like this called Ash Flats,
located somewhere in Wyoming.

Pat also said: <<I agree. I was disappointed that "mundane" modern weapons
like mortars, recoilless rifles, TOW missiles, etc weren't included.>>

I can understand leaving a lot of these out since it has been 13 years and a
bunch of them have probably been used up. But, still, with the plethora of
Nat'l guard and Reserves buildings that are out there, you'd think there'd be
a few. But like was said, they'd be expensive!!

Don S. wrote <<One of my players wants a dune buggy and wants to know about
these batteries. He mentioned that if he can have a battery powered buggy, he
wants to see about solar panel attachments. Arggh. Next, it will be how
to make a buggy with ghost steel tires, a poly-alloy frame, yadda yadda
yadda...>>

Tell the player that there aren't any solar cells. With ghost rock, why bother
with solar tech?
