OK, this is my theory, and I'm SURE it's right. Who's read City o' Gloom? Remember the part about
why Brigham doesn't just try to stand up to Hellstromme? Something about converting the "Good"
Doctor, or at least removing the quotes around "Good?"
It may be the stained glass portrait of Hellstromme in the Doomsayers chapter talking, but I think
Hellstromme learned a lesson from his little "Pocky-clypse." I think he left to get away from the
destruction he's wrought (perhaps to Faraway, a place less touched by the Reckoners than Earth?). I
think all the signs in CoG point to this theory, as well as a few of the signs in HoE. Maybe
Hellstromme will return one day to genetically engineer the Harbinger....
